A series of early hand coloured fashion plates for fashions in 1827, 1830, 1831 and 1832
William Wolfe Alais
who exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1829 and 1833
The plates were tightly bound on the left hand side into a volume so there is some slight trimming on this side. Some of the titles beneath the plates are either totally trimmed off or partly trimmed. Some of the prints have been photographed on a black background to show the extent of this.

I have been buying and selling antique maps and prints since the early 1960's during which time I had a gallery in Watergate Street, Chester for 30 years. I am now able to offer through my websites a personal service to map and print collectors.
