A bookseller and publisher working at 41 St. Andrew Square and 37 George Square i Edinburgh. Known for Lothian's Plan of the City of Edinburgh and its vicinity, engraved by George Bartholomew was published in 1825 with a further edition in 1829. For county map collectors there is Lothian's County Atlas of Scotland published by Jackson and Cowan of Glasgow and J. Duncan of London. The maps also appear in Atlas of Modern Scotland. The 1829 edition included an appendix Lothian's Historical Atlas of Scotland.
